Work With Elder X
I am not a therapist. I am not a pastor. I am someone who left strict religion, walked through severe mental illness in the aftermath, and rebuilt my life on my own terms. What I offer is honest conversation with someone who has been there.
Most people who reach out exchange a few emails and never pay anything. Some keep writing for months. A few want a regular ongoing call and we set that up. There is no funnel.
What This Actually Is
Honest Conversation
I will not pretend to have answers I do not have. I will tell you what I went through that sounds related to what you are going through, what I tried that did not work, and what eventually did. If something you are doing concerns me, I will tell you that gently and directly.
Practical Tools
Filling your calendar with small finishable things. Five pushups. Using AI for the practical questions you have nobody to ask. Writing what you actually believe now instead of what you were told to. None of it is fancy. All of it is what worked.
Reasonable Response Times
I read every message myself and reply within a day or two. If you are a paying client, texting is unlimited and I get back as fast as I can. I am not a 24/7 service and I am not a crisis line. For emergencies, call 988 or your local equivalent.
I Have Walked It
Strict religion. Leaving when the truth became undeniable. Marriage that nearly ended in the middle of it. Family who stopped calling. Bipolar diagnosis. Psych wards. Medications that did not work. The peyote ceremony that cracked something open. The slow rebuild. I am not reading from a textbook.
If You Want a Regular Conversation
The email exchange is always free. If you want a weekly call with unlimited texting between, here is what that looks like. Most people never pay anything — and that is fine.
For people who want a regular ongoing conversation. Most people who reach out never pay anything — the email is free.
Start with an email. If a regular call makes sense after that, we set it up. There is no funnel and no pressure either way.
