Analytics is paused
The current website does not load Google Analytics or use advertising tracking in its root layout. Any previous analytics-choice cookie does not enable tracking in this version. Existing cookies from earlier visits may remain in your browser until you delete them or they expire.
The contact form does not save a draft
Form answers remain in memory while the page is open. They are not written to browser storage by the contact form. They are sent only when you press the final Send button. Reloading or closing the page loses the draft. A browser or password manager can have its own behavior beyond this site’s control.
Other tools and external resources
The current planning tools keep checklist or preference state in page memory, without writing those answers to browser storage. External links open services with their own policies. Existing media can make requests to their hosts when loaded or played. Reading a public guide does not require you to submit a contact form.
Managing stored information
Your browser settings can clear site cookies and local storage. That may remove tool settings, but it does not remove sent email, server-side logs, synced history, screenshots, or monitoring by another person. Do not rely on clearing one type of storage as a complete safety measure.

A practical inventory of this version
The public guides do not require an account or a sign-in cookie. The contact form keeps its draft in page memory while you move through the three steps. The worldwide country finder keeps its selected filters in that page’s working state. These interactions do not write your answers into local storage or automatically submit a personal profile.
The reflection check-ins and checklists also keep their current selections in memory. They do not publish vote totals or retain your selections as research. If you reload, you begin again. This is an application behavior, not a claim that your browser, extensions, operating system or network cannot retain traces of a visit.
Why cookies and local storage are different
Browser storage is not one single container. Cookies and web storage are different mechanisms. Local storage can persist across browser sessions, while session storage has a tab-related lifetime. This website’s working form state is separate from both. A browser may present several controls under a broad label such as site data.
When deciding what to clear, read the category shown by your browser. Removing cookies may not remove downloads or history. Clearing history may not delete data already held by a website or email provider. The controls and labels differ between browsers and can change, so use the current browser’s own help for exact steps.
What a shared device can change
Consider more than whether a page asks for a name. Someone who can unlock a device may see an open tab, a notification, a download or a signed-in email account. A browser profile may sync activity across devices. An extension or password manager can have access separate from this website’s application code.
Before writing a personal message, decide whether the device and reply channel are appropriate for that message. You can read a guide without sending anything. If someone else controls the device or account, a setting inside this website cannot promise to overcome that control or make the activity undiscoverable.
Media and downloads are voluntary reading choices
The illustrated page videos are served from this website and play only when you choose playback. Captions and written transcripts provide alternatives. A browser may request the poster image or caption file as part of displaying its controls. A media request is different from sending a contact message or sharing a reflection-tool answer.
The research library offers a downloadable calculation file. Choosing to download it can leave a file in your downloads folder, and that file may be included in device backups or synchronization. Removing stored website data does not necessarily remove a file you have saved elsewhere. Consider where a download will be kept before using that option.
External sources are separate destinations
Country reports, research papers and support organizations linked here operate their own services. A link does not mean this website controls their storage, forms, accounts or policies. Check the destination and its explanation before entering information. The ordinary public source links do not enroll you in an Elder X conversation.
This site sets a no-referrer policy for its pages, limiting the page-address information sent as a referrer when following links. That does not make a request anonymous: the destination still receives a connection and may collect its own technical information. Privacy involves the whole interaction, not only one browser header.
Old choices can outlast an earlier version
A browser can contain cookies or stored data created during a previous visit or a previous version of a website. Their presence does not by itself show that the current page is using them. The current root layout does not load Google Analytics, and an old analytics-choice cookie does not enable it in this version.
If you want to inspect or remove older site data, use the current controls provided by your browser. Clearing it may also remove settings you wanted to keep. It cannot recall a sent message, remove a screenshot held elsewhere or establish what an infrastructure provider retains in logs and backups.
A private window has a limited purpose
A private or incognito window changes some browser retention behavior. It is not a promise of invisibility to another person, a device administrator, a website or a network. Do not treat its name as a substitute for understanding who controls the device and the accounts being used.
If you use an email account in that window, the email service still handles messages. If you save a file or take a screenshot, it can exist outside the window. The relevant question is what information you are creating, where it goes and who can access that destination after the browsing session ends.
Which request belongs where
Use browser controls for information held locally by the browser. Use the privacy notice to understand requests concerning an inquiry already sent to this website. Use an external service’s own process for information you provided to that service. These are separate responsibilities and may have different limits.
You can ask a narrow question about the website’s behavior without describing your religious history. Identify the page, the action and the unexpected result. Please do not include passwords, identity documents or sensitive screenshots. A clear description helps investigate a problem while keeping unnecessary personal information out of the exchange.
