Public services
In some parts of Germany there is a strong presence of Church-affiliated agencies in the healthcare system, so they have built up quasi-monopolies in medical service. Here women in particular experience discrimination in the form of restrictions of their right to sexual self-determination, as they are unable to access services to end pregnancies in Catholic-run institutions.
